The hotel is perfectly clean and has competent staff. The room is reasonably priced and a nice size, comes with a lovely terrace and a bedroom. This place is in the best possible and comfortable location to pub street with all the restaurants. All in all they offer exceptional service. Moreover, the parking is nearby...

It had a cozy feeling to it. Friendly staff and pretty nice breakfast.
I expected the rooms to be a bit more spacious, given how they look in the official photos.

We found the staff to be very helpful and good to deal with. We also likes the fact that the staff left us to ourselves. A place to stay if you want to be left to yourself, but the staff are there if you need them.
Thought the room looked just a little tired.

Good location, good value, funky setting. Really part of the Cambodian town Owner just loves the place and it shows- very attentive and competent staff. I love the old ceiling fans and open doors to the balcony upstairs. Pool is a cool relief after a day of temple treks.
Cant be thrilled about that climb and descent from the Sandlewood .Dangerous in the dark. Air conditioning not great, but could have been just in my room. OK for me but some might want it cooler.

The Golden Banana is perfectly located in Siem Reap - a short walk from the markets, restaurants and bars - yet set in a quiet road away from it all. The staff are genuinely warm and friendly and will help make every detail of your stay just as you want it. Siem Reap has high-end hotels like the Raffles and Victoria but you'll feel isolated from the town and it's people. The Golden Banana strikes the right balance between comfort, service, location and contact with the town. A memorable experience!

the breakfast was of excellent quality and very generous, with a huge variety of meals. the room was spacious, airy, and spotlessly clean, with a lounge area and a writing table. 3. the location was excellent and very convenient, being so close to Angkor Wat for sunrise and nearby food places.

We had a magnificent stay at this luxurious 4-star hotel. The location is perfect, as it is within walking distance to the vibrant area of Pub Street and the bustling market in the center of the city. Despite being tucked away inside a small alley, the hotel provides a haven of tranquility. The staff went above and beyond to cater to our every need, from securing reservations to recommending activities and restaurants. Their top-notch service made our stay truly remarkable.

I have just returned from a REAL GOOD stay in this small hotel, nicely decorated rooms. It's reasonably clean with a central location to Angkor temples.
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
